
Allen J. Shoff

About
Mr. Shoff earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law, where he was an active member of the Federalist Society, serving as Vice President for Advertising and Marketing. During law school, he also gained hands-on experience interning for two years at the Clearwater County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hillsdale College.
Following law school, Mr. Shoff spent five years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Canyon County, Idaho—two years as a criminal prosecutor and three as a civil attorney representing the Board of County Commissioners and various county departments. During his tenure, he prosecuted several thousand cases, took multiple cases to trial, and served as co-counsel and lead author for motions in major felony and civil litigation cases.
Mr. Shoff later relocated to Sandpoint, Idaho, drawn by the area’s natural beauty. He spent several months in private practice before co-founding an Idaho-based web design and hosting firm. He joined Sandpoint Estate Planning in 2021.
Mr. Shoff is licensed to practice in Idaho state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Idaho, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a member of the Idaho Mediation Association and a registered civil case mediator through the Idaho Supreme Court.
